Westchester Coalition for the Hungry & Homeless Holiday 2010

Each year the Hot Rod Hotel dresses up one of our rides and takes a trip to one of the many Westchester County facilities that feed & house the homeless.
The Westchester Coalition for the Hungry & Homeless is the organization that let us know they needed a Happy "Hot Rodding" Santa to spread some joy and cheer to some Westchester youngsters who needed a helping hand. Presents & Pizza are always welcome at any home.

NY 5th Gen Camaro Club Meetup

Saturday October 30, 2010 marks our first time hosting a Car Club Event. We had the men and women of the New York 5th Generation Camaro Club cruise here from all over the NY Area. It was a perfect day and over forty-five 2010-2011 Camaros showed up to tour the facility and eat some "serious" Hot Rod Hotel High Octane Turkey Chili.

Thanks to Mike and Mike who set up the event. It was a huge success and these guys had some serious new rides.

We pulled out our Bull Run 2010 Camaro Edition that took us from NY to LV in July of this year, as well as our flawless 1969 Camaro Z-28 RS, to make sure all of us see where this 2010 Camaro reincarnation came from.

We look forward to many more car club events, and please contact us if you would like to arrange a "meet and greet" in the near future.

Monticello Motor Club Cops for Kids Fundraiser

On September 18th 2010, we participated in The Monticello Motor Club's 1st Annual charity to benefit the New York State Troopers, Sullivan County Sheriff's and Monticello Police PBA's. After an exciting timed race between the 3 agencies, we took the kids of the participating Law Enforcement families on laps around the track. The ZR1 was a popular car among all the attendees especially a few of the Troopers who insisted on high speed laps, so it did get quite a workout that day.

28th Annual Road Knight Car Show

On September 26th 2010, we set up a Hot Rod Hotel booth at the 28th Annual Road Knights Car Show right on the Hudson River in our neighboring town - Peekskill. This was our first public appearance to promote the soon to open restoration shop at our facility. It was a beautiful day and well attended by lots of local folks who proudly displayed their rides. We brought our 33 Ford Rod and AHRA 69 Winter Nationals record holder "Buckaroo" Mustang to show support.
